The Republic of the Philippines is located at the Pacific Ocean near the equator. It is an archipelago that consists of around 7,640 islands. The country is divided into three main areas; the Luzon (the largest island and where Manila is found, capital of the Philippines), the Visayas (that includes the major islands such as Cebu and Bohol ) and the Mindanao (second-largest island in the Philippines, which is located in the southern end of the archipelago). 

Aside from having beautiful tourist spots, Philippines is also known for offering flavorful dishes that will definitely make your day wonderful.  The country's rich history has influenced its local food culture and its traditional cooking techniques. Filipino cuisine has it all! You'll definitely end up loving this cuisine once you try the dishes yourself.

"Tara, kain!","Kain na tayo" and "Kain na" are the common phrase you'll hear while staying in The Philippines. It means "Let's eat", which shows the hospitality and the love for food of Filipinos. 

Every region in Philippines has their own dishes they are proud of. We encourage you to try them all out and taste the wonder of Filipino cuisine. There might be a chance that you try foods that are too sweet, too salty or too heavy for your appetite but there's no knowing until you try!

We recommend to open yourself for the experience, because you'll taste the unique culinary culture and rich flavors of Filipino Cuisine.
